High-performance and future-proof solution for demanding applications
Augsburg, October 15, 2025 – Kontron, a leading global provider of IoT/Embedded Computer Technology (ECT), introduces the K4031-H mITX, a powerful motherboard in a compact Mini-ITX format. Equipped with the latest Intel®Core™ Ultra 7 155H and Intel®Core™ Ultra 5 125H processors (Meteor Lake H), the industrial motherboard combines optimal CPU/graphics and AI performance with state-of-the-art features for demanding embedded and industrial applications.
Developed in Germany and produced in Europe, the Mini-ITX motherboard impresses with outstanding computing power and advanced graphics capabilities based on the Intel®Arc™ architecture with up to 128 execution units. It supports up to four independent 4K displays or two 8K outputs via a versatile combination of DisplayPort™, USB Type-C with TB4/USB4®, Embedded DisplayPort™ and dual-channel 24-bit LVDS interfaces. The new Intel Core Ultra platform integrates its own AI engine directly into the chip for the first time with Intel AI Boost (NPU). Together with the CPU and Arc GPU, it delivers up to 34 TOPS of AI performance – for efficient, fast and energy-saving AI applications directly on the device.
Designed for flexibility and scalability, the board features four M.2 slots for storage and wireless connectivity and a wide range of I/O interfaces, including GPIO, two COM ports, USB 3.2 Gen2 and TB4/USB4™. The K4031-H also supports Kontron's latest M.2-based 5G modules. The K4031-H is designed for 24/7 continuous operation and validated for extended temperature ranges up to 60 °C. This makes it suitable for a wide range of vertical markets – from industrial automation and digital signage to medical systems.
Thanks to the combination of European development, state-of-the-art platform technology and the proven Mini-ITX form factor, the K4031-H offers a forward-looking solution for companies and users who place particular value on performance, quality, long-term availability, delivery reliability and sustainability from a European manufacturer.
Customer samples of the new K4031-H mITX will be available from October 2025.
