The BL i.MX8M Mini from Kontron Electronics impresses with its robust performance and versatility. Thanks to the integration of CODESYS® SoftSPS, users have access to comprehensive, practical solutions that make the planning and implementation of automation applications both efficient and convenient. System-on-Modules, single-board computers, rugged industrial PCs, and customized boards can be upgraded with single- or multi-core CODESYS® licenses.
Performance & Architecture
The BL i.MX8M Mini is equipped with a powerful quad-core Arm® Cortex®-A53 processor, clocked at 1.6 GHz. Modern DDR4 memory technology ensures fast and reliable data processing. The system is characterized by its short boot time. Optimized real-time performance guarantees high application performance, resulting in reduced cycle times and rapid, reliable controller response. This architecture is ideal for demanding automation tasks, real-time applications and high-quality visualization solutions.
Communication Interfaces
The BL i.MX8M Mini offers a comprehensive range of standard peripheral and communication interfaces. These include numerous digital I/Os, serial interfaces, PWM, two SDIO interfaces, as well as HDMI, LVDS and I²C/USB touch. This variety enables flexible connection to a wide range of industrial environments and ensures easy integration into existing systems.
