At the field, or edge level, data is collected by industrial computers, e.g. by gateways, which process, filter, analyze and act on these data in real-time right at the device.
Edge, fog and cloud applications demand increasing computing power. The interfaces to sensors or machines often require non-standard solutions. Especially in smaller machines, space is limited or restricted in some dimension and need a special solution.
Today, the connection from the sensor device to the embedded cloud takes place via real-time data communication, on sensor and edge level - for example Industrial Ethernet or fieldbuses - and gateways , which provide the transformation of real time data into the informational area.

RMA Form
INSTRUCTIONS
- Please issue and complete the given RMA Form.
- Please indicate whether you are returning waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) (application of german law: ElektroG) or whether you are placing a service order.
- Please take care to include a short detailed description of the observed problem or failure and product identification (Ident-No and Serial-No).
- Please send the completed RMA-sheet to the given fax- or email-address at Kontron Europe GmbH.
- Kontron Europe GmbH will provide you an RMA-No within one business day.
- The goods for repair shall be packed properly for shipping, considering shock- and ESD-protection.
- Please add the RMA-sheet to the relevant delivery address and include the RMA-No into shipping paperwork.
- Efforts for unjustified claims will be charged.
NOTE
Goods returned to us in non proper packaging will be considered as customer caused faults and cannot accepted in any case as warranty repairs.
