RMA (Return of Material Authorization) Procedure Kontron Europe GmbH (Augsburg, Germany)

Kontron Europe GmbH tries to provide a customer oriented RMA-service in order to get your unit repaired very fast and efficiently. Please follow the given instructions. In order to give you the best service, it is neccessary to follow our instructions.


Please download and use the following form



  • Please issue and complete the given RMA Form.
  • Please indicate whether you are returning waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) (application of german law: ElektroG) or whether you are placing a service order.
  • Please take care to include a short detailed description of the observed problem or failure and product identification (Ident-No and Serial-No).
  • Please send the completed RMA-sheet to the given fax- or email-address at Kontron Europe GmbH.
  • Kontron Europe GmbH will provide you an RMA-No within one business day.
  • The goods for repair shall be packed properly for shipping, considering shock- and ESD-protection.
  • Please add the RMA-sheet to the relevant delivery address and include the RMA-No into shipping paperwork.
  • Efforts for unjustified claims will be charged.



Goods returned to us in non proper packaging will be considered as customer caused faults and cannot accepted in any case as warranty repairs.
