This 32-channel low-voltage switching module is designed for use in MPOD power systems and provides a high level of flexibility and control for distributed low-voltage loads. Each of the 32 switch channels is independently programmable, allowing individual configuration and operation to match the specific requirements of complex detector, instrumentation, or test setups.

The module supports a maximum switching voltage of up to 60 V and a maximum current of 5 A per channel, making it suitable for a wide range of low-voltage applications. Semiconductor-based switching technology is used to ensure fast and reliable operation, with response times below 5 ms. This enables precise and rapid switching actions while minimizing wear and power losses typically associated with mechanical switching solutions.

With a switching capability of up to 50 cycles per second per channel, the module is well suited for applications requiring frequent or dynamic switching operations. Each channel can be controlled individually, enabling remote on/off switching as well as polarity control, which significantly simplifies system wiring and operational flexibility.

The module is designed in a compact 6U form factor with a width of 40.64 mm and a depth of 220 mm, allowing seamless integration into standard MPOD chassis. Despite its high channel density, the module maintains a low overall weight of approximately 2 kg, supporting efficient system design and handling.

Control and monitoring are performed via the MPOD controller, using Ethernet-based interfaces and SNMP communication. This allows straightforward integration into existing control infrastructures and enables centralized management, automation, and status monitoring of all switching channels. The combination of fast response times, independent channel control, and network-based management makes this module a powerful and scalable solution for modern low-voltage switching applications.
