Es besteht aus einem oder zwei Carrierboards und einer speziell für Speicherlösung entwickelten Backplane. Das vielseitige einsetzbare CP-HDD-S-KIT kann in sowohl 3HE als auch 6HE CompactPCI 19" Gehäusen implementiert werden.
