Kontron StarVX™ HPEC Platform deploys Intel® Xeon® Processor D

Leveraging mainstream IT technology (TCP/IP, PCIe, Intel® processors), the StarVX is a High Performance Embedded Computer (HPEC) system that brings supercomputing I/O bandwidth and performance previously only achieved in IT datacenters to the battlefield. Now Embarking server class CPU silicon (Intel® Xeon® Processor D), StarVX™ offers the shortest route from the IT room to the field for intensive parallel embedded applications. Offering three independent channels on the data plane, StarVX can be deployed in harsh environments where classical servers would not survive.
