The VME6023 full-size crate is a premium 19″ VME64x packaging system designed for high-end data acquisition, control, and instrumentation applications. Fully compliant with IEEE 1101.10/P and featuring superior EMC and ESD shielding, it offers a monolithic 21-slot backplane with optional J0 connectors, active termination, and VIPA backplane compatibility.
A 1U plenum air compression chamber between the fan tray and card cage optimizes airflow while allowing the power supply to be mounted at the bottom rear, leaving the entire rear of the backplane accessible. This unique design supports optional 3U or 6U rear transition cages in multiple depths.
The UEP 6021 modular power supply delivers up to 3 kW with ultra-low noise performance, programmable voltage and current limits, and comprehensive protection features. Cooling is managed by the UEL 6020 EX fan tray with three long-life DC fans, adjustable speed, and temperature-based control. Local and remote crate management is available via high-visibility LED display, Ethernet, RS232, and CAN-bus interfaces, ensuring operational reliability in critical environments.
