The VME195-x mini crate is designed for small-scale but demanding VME64x installations. It accommodates up to nine 6U × 160 mm modules in a rugged, IEEE 1101.10 compliant chassis with enhanced EMC and ESD protection. The system integrates a microprocessor-controlled low-noise power supply, delivering up to 1000 W output power with exceptional ripple performance. Cooling is provided by an adjustable DC blower with temperature-dependent speed control, ensuring optimal airflow and low acoustic noise. The crate offers free rear access for transition modules, dedicated cable routing between front and rear card cages, and space for 2.5″ drives. With built-in remote management via Ethernet, RS232, and CAN-bus, and multiple layers of electronic protection, the VME195-x provides high reliability for both laboratory and industrial applications.
