At the field, or edge level, data is collected by industrial computers, e.g. by gateways, which process, filter, analyze and act on these data in real-time right at the device.

Edge, fog and cloud applications demand increasing computing power. The interfaces to sensors or machines often require non-standard solutions. Especially in smaller machines, space is limited or restricted in some dimension and need a special solution.

Today, the connection from the sensor device to the embedded cloud takes place via real-time data communication, on sensor and edge level - for example Industrial Ethernet or fieldbuses - and gateways , which provide the transformation of real time data into the informational area.

CFC-ADA-1是针对使用CF卡和Microdrive进行数据存储的2.5寸转接板。

CFC-ADA-1转接板有40针和44针两种IDE接口，可连接2.5寸和3.5寸硬盘及CD-ROM。另外还有硬盘响应指示灯连接器和主从模式跳线。CFC-ADA-1既可用于内置的2.5寸硬盘，也可用于表面安装的可置换存储设备。

主/从模式可选择从哪个设备优先启动，从而使调试软件更新变得更加便捷。

此适配器可避免许多曾让硬件工程师头疼的问题.
