The Horní Suchá site plays a key role in our European production network, adding flexibility, technical depth, and strong ODM capabilities. The team helps turn customer ideas into robust, ready-to-produce designs while supporting both small series and scalable production.
Equipped with seven SMT lines, a prototype line, a Class 2 cleanroom, X-ray testing, and a wide range of inspection and test systems, Horní Suchá ensures quality at every step. The team also manages box-build assembly, coating, and cable integration, providing versatile support across industries.
From pilot runs to full-scale production, Horní Suchá delivers with agility, precision, and attention to detail — powering smart electronics for industrial systems, connected applications, and beyond.

Our Győr site is an essential part of KATEK’s European production network, strengthening our footprint with a strong focus on efficiency, precision, and high quality. Designed for reliable, large-volume manufacturing, it ensures consistent performance even at high output levels.
Equipped with 12 SMT lines, modern production equipment, selective and wave soldering, cable assembly, pressfit technology, and robust inline inspection systems, Győr delivers consistent quality at scale. The team also handles system integration and final assembly, supporting projects from mid-sized series to six-digit annual volumes.
By combining speed, reliability, and precision, Győr enables customers to achieve fast, repeatable results while bringing advanced electronics solutions to life — from concept to completion.

2024 – 2026
KATEK becomes part of Kontron Group
KATEK GmbH in Grassau, KATEK Hungary Kft, and KATEK Czech Republic s.r.o. form the new ODM/EMS division within Kontron Group. As of 01.01.2026 Katek Austria GmbH joins the division. Through our affiliation, we pool the expertise, experience, and resources of the companies.
2017 – 2021
Continuous expansion
2017 groundbreaking and subsequent move into the new logistics center in Grassau, growth to around 3,700 employees at 19 locations by 2018, and further know-how expansion through the merger of KATEK Frickenhausen GmbH and KATEK Czech Republic s.r.o. in 2021.
