VXI-C size 343 Mini

The VXI-C size 343 Mini Crate integrates a high-performance power supply and a removable fan tray and can operate either as a compact desktop unit or as a 19″ rack-mounted system.

This mini crate is a 4-slot chassis designed for C-size VXI modules (6U × 340 mm), combining the proven technology of Kontron Hartmann Wiener with a minimal footprint. Its microprocessor-controlled architecture enables both local and remote monitoring, supported by an alphanumeric LED display, system status indicators, and a recessed reset button.

The front-accessible fan tray contains two high-efficiency DC blowers with adjustable speeds between 2,400 and 3,400 RPM, ensuring optimized right-to-left airflow. Continuous system supervision covers fan performance, thermal conditions, and power status, with support for up to four optional temperature sensors and programmable over-temperature protection.

Remote connectivity via Ethernet enables full system diagnostics and control. The integrated, wide-range AC power supply (94–264 V AC) with active PFC ensures reliable, CE-compliant operation. With a height of only 3U (107 mm) and a weight of approximately 11 kg, the VXI-C size 343 Mini Crate is ideal for space-constrained, high-performance test and measurement environments.
