Die Kontron VPX360-Stromversorgungen sind leitungsgekühlte COTS-Spannungswandler (Commercial Off-The-Shelf), die gemäß ANSI/VITA 62.0 entwickelt wurden und mit Standard-VPX-Gehäusen nach VITA 46.0 kompatibel sind. Dank der Next-Generation-Schaltnetzteiltechnologie von W-IE-NE-R liefert die Serie eine erhöhte Ausgangsleistung und Stromstärke in einem kompakten 3U x 5HP-Format – bei gleichzeitig hoher Effizienz.
Ein neu entwickelter Eingangsfilter in Kombination mit Booster- und Isolationsstufen ermöglicht den Betrieb sowohl mit 28 V DC- als auch mit 48 V DC-Eingangssystemen. Die VPX360 erfüllt die Anforderungen der MIL-Standards 461, 704 und 1275 und bietet integrierte Überwachungs- und Steuerfunktionen über I²C (IPMI) und USB. Sämtliche mechanischen und elektrischen Schnittstellen entsprechen dem VITA-62-Standard.
