Produktinformationen
Die VME64x 3U Serie 165 von Kontron Hartmann Wiener wurde für kompakte und leistungsfähige VME64x-Systeme entwickelt. Sie ist mit 3, 9, 10 oder 21 Slots erhältlich und besitzt einen einheitlichen Slotabstand von 4 HP beziehungsweise 20,32 mm.
Für Daisy Chaining und Bus Grant unterstützt die Serie sowohl eine elektronisch-automatische Konfiguration über ein OR-Gate als auch eine manuelle Konfiguration über Jumper oder auf Anfrage per Wire-Wrap. Laut Produktspezifikation sind aktive und passive Terminierungen möglich. In der veröffentlichten Bestellnummerntabelle werden aktive Varianten aufgeführt.
Die Backplane bietet eine hohe Strombelastbarkeit pro Slot. Unterstützt werden bis zu 12,5 A bei +3,3 V, 9,0 A bei +5 V sowie eine zusätzliche +48-V-Versorgung im Bereich von 38 bis 75 V mit bis zu 3,0 A pro Slot. Die Stromversorgung erfolgt über eine Stromschiene beziehungsweise eine M6-Schraubklemme.
Das HF-optimierte Leiterplattendesign basiert auf FR-4-Material und erfüllt die Basisspezifikation ANSI/VITA 1.1-1997. Eine durchgehende Chassis-GND-Fläche sowie die kapazitive HF-Kopplung von Rack- und Systemmasse unterstützen den zuverlässigen Betrieb in anspruchsvollen industriellen, militärischen, medizinischen, Telekommunikations-, Transport- und Luftfahrtanwendungen.
