The VM-DBA is a high-performance test and diagnostic module designed to visualize, analyze, and record activities across all VME-bus lines. It supports 32 data and 32 address lines, as well as all key bus and control signals such as IRQ1–7, IACK/IACKIN, BG/BR1–3, Bus Clear, Bus Busy, VD, CLK, RES, SYSF, ACF, AS, DS1/DS0, LWORD, DTACK, and BERR.
With programmable trigger conditions, dual VME and USB interfaces, and an external trigger input via front-panel LEMO connector, it provides maximum flexibility for system analysis.
Waveforms can be captured at up to 100 MHz and stored in two FPGA-programmable 2 kBit memories, accessible via an intuitive Windows-based GUI for graphical visualization and detailed evaluation.
Fully compliant with ANSI/IEEE 1014, IEC 821, and IEC 297 standards, the module supports various VME slave modes (D08(OE), D16, D32, A16, A24, A32) and Interrupt Handler 1H (1–7).
Thanks to low-power CMOS technology, the VM-DBA ensures efficient performance and minimal power consumption, making it an ideal diagnostic and monitoring solution for VME-based systems.
