Der 19” Rugged Ethernet Switch (RES) ist entwickelt für Applikationen in der Verteidigungstechnik und anderen Einsatzbereichen, die hohe Zuverlässigkeit unter rauen Umgebungsbedingungen sowie Langzeitverfügbarkeit fordern. Basierend auf hochintegrierten Ethernet-Switching-Komponenten, setzt der RES2404-PTP auf Kontrons bewährte Ethernet Building Blocks und Management Software und ermöglicht so die schnelle Installation zuverlässiger Ethernet Netzwerke.
Der RES ist eine kosteneffiziente managebare Ethernet Switch Lösung und bietet weitaus mehr als nur reines Gigabit Ethernet Switching.
