The cPCI Serial 4U 32HP 4-slot chassis is a robust CompactPCI Serial (PICMG CPCI-S.0) solution featuring a 3U 4-slot PCIe Gen3 full-mesh backplane, equipped with a 180 W ATX power supply and designed in conformance with IEEE and IEC chassis standards.
CompactPCI Serial (CPCI S.0) is the next generation of the classic CompactPCI (PICMG 2.0) standard. While CompactPCI operates via parallel buses, CPCI Serial relies exclusively on serial point-to-point connections for PCI Express and Ethernet. Hartmann’s CPCI Serial chassis combine a modular design with high performance, thanks to a full-mesh architecture and a proven ATX power supply concept.
This 4-U system with a width of 32 HP is ideal for compact, high-performance embedded applications that require control of up to four peripheral cards. With full compliance to established industry standards (IEEE, IEC) and robust resistance to vibration and shock, it is also suitable for demanding environments. The integrated 180 W ATX power supply provides stable power to all boards with ample reserve capacity. Airflow from bottom to top, driven by a large 120 mm fan unit, ensures efficient cooling throughout the chassis.
