Ace Flight™ 4609
The Kontron Ace Flight™ 4609 integrates the Intel® Xeon® W-11865MRE processor (2.6 GHz), includes 64 gigabytes (GB) of ECC DDR4 memory, up to 4 terabytes (TB) of fixed NVMe SSD storage and two removable SDDs with up to 8TB of storage each.
It supports extensive connectivity and bandwidth with features including a 5G/LTE modem for global access, a L2+ managed Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) Switch with 10x 2.5GBase-T Ports, 6 Rx (fixed), 1 Tx/Rx (Configurable) ARINC 429 channels and 2 x Coax antenna connections for diversity.
Its rugged 4MCU air flow through design meets harsh environmental aircraft requirements in a low power and lightweight unit. Bringing datacenter-grade performance to commercial aircraft, the Ace Flight™ 4609 is a complete, highly integrated application-ready platform specifically designed to meet sophisticated communication application requirements.
This powerful server is the optimal platform for a comprehensive range of flight information systems including crew and passenger web servers, flight maintenance or manifest servers, connectivity servers, wireless content servers, In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) servers, and software virtualization.
