The 9U VME64x 6023 Full Size Chassis is WIENER’s next-generation integrated packaging system for VME/VME64x applications, combining rugged mechanical construction, ultra-low-noise modular power supplies, and advanced local and remote monitoring features.
- Mechanics: 9U × 400 mm, IEEE 1101.10 compliant, EMC/ESD-protected
- Slots: Up to 21 VME64x (optional P0 connectors)
- Power Supply: Up to 6 kW, low-noise “Cavity-VHF” switching

The WIENER VME 6023 crate series is designed for demanding data acquisition, control, and instrumentation tasks where performance, reliability, and serviceability are paramount.
Its modular architecture consists of the UEV 6023 bin with integrated air compression chamber, the UEL 6020 fan tray, and the UEP 6021 high-density modular power supply.
The unique bottom-positioned power supply enables completely free access to the rear of the VME backplane, allowing for easy integration of rear transition modules. The chassis supports both full 9U × 400 mm boards and mixed 6U/9U configurations, with heavy-duty 5 mm side plates ensuring mechanical stability.
Cooling is handled by a temperature-monitored DC blower system with individually controlled fans, while the microprocessor-based control system provides extensive monitoring and programmable trip points for voltage, current, and temperature.
Remote management via Ethernet (including a built-in web server and SNMP support) ensures full control over system health from anywhere.
