Kontron acquires 59.4% of the shares of Katek's major shareholder PRIMEPULS and expands its leading position in the IoT market. The Group is broadening its product portfolio to include the high-growth areas of photovoltaics and eMobility Smart Charging while significantly strengthening its portfolio of renewable “green” energy solutions and the aerospace segment.

Telit and Comlab acquisitions bolster Kontron’s IoT business
In July 2023, Kontron announced two acquisitions with a focus on the Internet of Things (IoT). The acquisition of the "Cellular Automotive Module Unit" from Telit Inc., a specialist in 5G connectivity for machines, and the acquisition of Comlab AG from Switzerland, an expert in data communication in trains.
