Kontron's presence in Asia Pacific can be traced back to 2000 in Taipei. By leveraging abundant ICT talent pool, strong supply chain system and emerging market demands in Asia, Kontron keeps strengthening its product portfolio and business development. Kontron now has 3 locations in Asia Pacific, including Taipei, Beijing and Penang.

Meet Kontron China

Located in Beijing with representative offices and sales agencies in 8 cities, we provide Kontron branded embedded computing and IoT platforms and solutions to local customers. In addition, we deliver customized solutions tailored for local industries from digital healthcare, industrial automation, artificial intelligence, avionics, transportation to defense.

Steve Chen has master degrees in International Business Management and Accounting. He has more than 23 years of management experience in the IT industry, particularly in the areas of business strategy and operation, restructuring, M&A and finance. He joined Kontron in 2002, and has held a variety of management positions at it and at Kontron ever since, with these positions including Chairman / CEO of Kontron in Asia Pacific, Chairman of S&T Group in Asia Pacific and Chairman of Quanmax Group. Start from early 2017, he become the position of EVP at Kontron Group headquarter Management Board responsible for Asia Pacific region.

The 3.5”-SBC-RPL is a single board computer driven by hybrid-core 13th Gen Intel® Core™ U-Series and Intel® U-Series Processors (codenamed Raptor Lake U) which enable an optimal synergy between performance and efficiency. With integrated Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics, AI acceleration features and real-time computing capability on the same chip, the board can help system developers build a compact edge system that requires excellent graphics, efficient computing, real-time processing and / or AI acceleration for a variety of applications, such as smart manufacturing, healthcare, retail and smart city.
