The SL i.MX6 ULL/UL from Kontron Electronics is a compact yet powerful embedded module. Performance & Architecture
The SL i.MX6 ULL/UL is based on a high-performance application processor from the NXP i.MX6 family and combines power with ease of use. Equipped with an Arm® Cortex®-A7 processor – optionally up to 800 MHz (i.MX6 ULL) or 528 MHz (i.MX6 UL) – the system delivers robust computing power for demanding embedded applications. Despite its performance, operation is as intuitive as with a classic microcontroller, which significantly simplifies development and integration. The system runs on Embedded Linux (Yocto Distribution) and can optionally be extended with CODESYS® SoftPLC for flexible automation solutions.
Communication Interfaces
For optimal connectivity, the SL i.MX6 ULL/UL features two 10/100 Mbit/s Ethernet interfaces, one of which comes with an integrated PHY. In addition, there is one CAN 2.0 B interface available, enabling reliable communication with other controllers and devices. Thanks to these versatile communication options, the module is ideally suited for use in complex network environments and allows seamless integration into existing system landscapes.
