The PXIe 4U/42HP 8-slot chassis is a compact desktop system supporting PXIe and PXI modules. It provides high bandwidth, reliable cooling, and PXI-5 compliance.
- Form Factor & Slots: 4U PXI chassis (42HP) with 8 slots including 1 system slot, 1 PXIe slot, 2 hybrid PXI/PXIe slots, and 4 PXI legacy slots
- Backplane: 8-slot backplane fully supporting mixed PXI and PXI Express modules
- Power Supply: Integrated 300 W ATX power supply with wide-range AC input (90–264 VAC, 47–63 Hz)
- Power Outputs: +12 V / 24 A, +3.3 V / 17 A, +5 V / 18 A, −12 V / 0.3 A for reliable multi-rail operation
- Cooling & Mechanics: Internal fan tray with two 12 V fans (bottom-to-top airflow), designed for desktop operation

The PXIe 4U/42HP 8 Slots chassis is a compact desktop solution supporting both PXI Express (PXIe) and legacy PXI modules. It provides high bandwidth, flexibility, and mobility for test and measurement systems. The chassis is equipped with a 300W ATX power supply and an internal fan tray with two 12V fans for efficient cooling. Airflow is from bottom to top. Compliance with the PXI-5 specification (Rev. 1.1) ensures compatibility with a variety of PXI/PXIe modules.
