PiXtend® eIO Digital One Pro

The PiXtend® eIO Digital One Pro is an I/O expansion module for digital and analogue inputs and outputs. It complements the PiXtend® V2 controller and enables the connection of sensors and actuators via industry-standard connection technology.

Performance & Architecture

The module offers up to 8 digital inputs with counter functionality as well as 8 digital outputs (high-side switches, 0.5 A, various voltages). Analog inputs and outputs for voltage and current are also available. The fast "Hyper Logic" allows logical operations to be executed directly on the module without bus communication. A watchdog timer monitors data transmission and, if necessary, sets the outputs to a configurable, safe state.

Communication Interfaces

The connection is established via the robust RS485 bus. Both Modbus RTU and a proprietary ASCII protocol are supported, allowing up to 32 devices to be integrated into a network.
