Full featured 2.5" Embedded Motherboard with Intel® Atom™ processor up to 1.6 GHz on Pico-ITX™.
The Pico-ITX™ form factor is ideal for small and powerful devices e.g. in combination with 2.5" hard drives or microSD-cards. pITX-SP, Kontron’s first 2.5" Motherboard based on this specification features the Intel® Atom™ Z510 / Z530 processor and the Intel® System Controller Hub US15W.
Together with high speed interfaces like Gb-LAN, Dual-SATA and USB 2.0, the onboard DVI (up to 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz) and LVDS (JILI30, up to 112MHz pixel clock via single channel, nearly all display resolutions from VGA up to WXGA are provided) connectors, HD Audio and SP/DIF makes many multimedia applications possible.
The chipset of the pITX-SP provides shader based 2D and 3D dual independent graphics, integrated decoders for MPG2 and H.264 / MPEG-4 AVC as well as Direct X and Open GL support. Additional functions can be realized by using the SDIO or Digital-I/O port. On the software side Kontron typical functions like JIDA (JUMPtec Intelligent Device Architecture Interface) and other Bios tools simplify the system setup and operation.
With the pITX-SP Kontron offers a small, powerful and very cost effective 2.5" Embedded Motherboard.
