Product Information
The open frame chassis with SOSA® aligned 7-slot VPX backplane is designed for development, test and validation environments where maximum accessibility and flexibility are required.
The open frame design allows unrestricted access to boards, connectors and measurement points, making it ideal for laboratory use and system bring-up. The integrated 3U SOSA® aligned VPX backplane supports a seven-slot topology consisting of one SBC slot, one switch slot, one clock slot and four payload slots.
The backplane is designed for high-speed data transmission up to 100 Gbit/s Ethernet (100GBase-KR4) and uses TE Connectivity MULTIGIG RT 3 connectors to ensure reliable signal integrity. It complies with VITA 46 and VITA 65 specifications and supports standardized SOSA® slot profiles.
Flexible configuration options are available for data, control and radial clock planes. The open frame chassis supports bottom-to-top airflow and can be combined with application-specific cooling solutions depending on system configuration and power dissipation.
Custom assemblies or modifications of the open frame chassis and backplane integration are available on request.
