The DL i.MX6 ULL Touch Panel from Kontron Electronics is a cost-effective 5" PCAP multi-touch display featuring a pure glass front. It is equipped with a 5" TFT screen offering 800 x 480 pixels and a brightness of 450 cd/m². The device runs on Embedded Linux (Yocto Distribution) and consumes less than 1.5 W during operation.
Performance & Architecture
At its core, the device is powered by an NXP i.MX6 ULL processor featuring an Arm® Cortex®-A7 running at 800 MHz. The memory configuration includes 512 MB DDR3 RAM, 512 MB NAND flash, 1 MB NOR flash, 4 GB eMMC, and a microSD card. The unit’s compact design measures 130 x 89 x 38 mm, with an IP65-protected front and an operating temperature range from 0°C to 60°C.
Communication Interfaces
The DL i.MX6 ULL Panel offers a wide range of interfaces: 2x Ethernet (10/100 Mbit/s), 2x USB 2.0 Host, 1x USB 2.0 OTG, 1x RS232, 1x RS485, 1x CAN 2.0, 2x digital inputs/outputs (24 V/up to 800 mA), and 2x analog inputs (0...24 V).
