Product Information
The cPCI Serial 4U 50HP 9-slot chassis is a high-density CompactPCI Serial (PICMG S.0) system, featuring a 3U 9-slot PCIe Gen3 backplane in a single-star topology and powered by a 300 W ATX (or cPCI Serial) power supply.
CompactPCI Serial (CPCI S.0) further evolves the original parallel CompactPCI (PICMG 2.0) paradigm by exclusively relying on serial point-to-point links for PCI Express and Ethernet. Hartmann’s cPCI Serial chassis adopt a modular architecture enriched with a single-star topology, combining system scalability with strong performance.
This 4U, 50 HP chassis supports nine plug-in cards, making it suitable for demanding, high-density embedded systems needing many peripheral modules. Compliance with IEEE and IEC standards, coupled with tested resistance to vibration, shock, and railway environment stress, allows deployment in challenging industrial conditions. The 300 W ATX (or optionally cPCI Serial) power supply delivers stable power to all modules, and the removable dual fan tray enforces a consistent bottom-to-top airflow path for efficient thermal management.
