Systems-on-Module (SoM)

Kontron Electronics offers Arm®-based SoMs built on processors from leading manufacturers such as NXP, Texas Instruments, and STMicroelectronics, providing a compact base for customized embedded products. The modules integrate key computing, memory, power supply, and interface functions while enabling scalable performance, flexible memory configurations, and application-specific functionality.

In addition to conventional SoMs, the focus is on solutions based on the established Open Standard Module™ (OSM) specification, providing a compact, long-term foundation for embedded designs. Development in Germany, manufacturing in Europe, many years of embedded expertise, and long-term available processor modules reduce development effort and strengthen planning reliability throughout the entire product lifecycle.
