Product Information
The AL Pi-Tron CM5 from Kontron Electronics is a compact, high-performance Box PC designed for DIN rail mounting. It is based on the BL Pi-Tron CM5 single board computer with a Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 and features a robust stainless-steel housing for easy integration into industrial control systems.

Performance & Architecture
Equipped with a Broadcom BCM2712 processor, 4x Arm® Cortex®-A76 at 2.4 GHz, and up to 16 GB LPDDR4 RAM, the industrial Box PC delivers high computing power for demanding applications. The integrated FRAM memory ensures data integrity and operational reliability, even in the event of a power failure. The system is designed to run Raspbian Linux; however, the operating system is not pre-installed at the factory. Additionally, the device supports HDMI output up to 4K as well as optional expansions via multifunction I/O modules.

Communication Interfaces
The AL Pi-Tron CM5 comes standard with numerous interfaces: 2x Ethernet (1 Gbit/s, 100 Mbit/s), 2x USB 2.0 host, 1x USB 2.0 OTG for programming the eMMC, RS232, RS485, CAN 2.0B/FD, as well as 4 digital I/O. Optional features include WLAN (2.4 GHz / 5 GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0, providing flexible and customizable connectivity.
