AL i.MX8M Plus from Kontron Electronics impresses with its compact, fanless design and flexible DIN rail mounting. The platform is modularly expandable via multifunctional I/O modules and offers excellent value for money.
Performance & Architecture
The Automation-Line AL i.MX8M Plus is based on NXP i.MX8M Plus SoCs, featuring a quad-core Arm® Cortex®-A53 and an Arm® Cortex®-M7 for real-time applications. With up to 8 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and an integrated NPU delivering 2.3 TOPS, it enables demanding AI and machine learning applications as well as high-performance control tasks.
Communication Interfaces
The Box PC offers numerous connectivity options, including dual Gigabit Ethernet with TSN, CAN-FD, HDMI 4K, LVDS, MIPI CSI for displays and cameras, as well as USB 3.0 Type-C. Up to 16 I/O modules can be controlled via the CAN bus.
