The compact AL i.MX6 ULL Linux computer from Kontron Electronics, part of the Automation-Line series, impresses with its fanless design in a sturdy housing and allows for space-saving, flexible installation. Equipped with Embedded Linux and a wide range of interfaces, it is ideally suited for industrial applications.
Performance & Architecture
Inside, the device runs on an NXP i.MX6 ULL microprocessor with 1x Arm® Cortex®-A7 @800 MHz. The computer features up to 512 MB DDR3 RAM and various storage options, including NAND flash, NOR flash, eMMC (up to 64 GB), as well as a microSD card slot and nvSRAM.
Communication Interfaces
The AL i.MX6 ULL controller solution is equipped with two 10/100 Mbit/s Ethernet ports, multiple USB 2.0 interfaces (Host and OTG), serial interfaces (RS232, RS485), and CAN 2.0 B, offering versatile communication options. This is complemented by digital and analog I/Os, which are provided on industrial-grade connectors with spring-cage terminals.
