The 6U VPX Power Backplanes from Kontron HARTMANN-WIENER provide rugged, high-reliability power distribution for 6U VPX / OpenVPX systems.

They are designed according to the VITA 62 standard, enabling both AC and DC power input, and delivering all required VPX voltage rails (VS1, VS2, VS3, AUX) to modules. These backplanes are hand-assembled for quality and durability.
In VPX systems, reliable power delivery is critical. Hartmann’s 6U VPX Power Backplanes fulfill this role by distributing all necessary voltage rails (VS1, VS2, VS3 and auxiliary rails) to each module per the VITA 62 standard. They support both AC and DC input power, making them flexible for various environments. With high current capacity and robust stud outputs, these backplanes ensure each slot receives consistent and clean power. The inclusion of sense and control lines through J0/J1 connectors supports advanced power management and health monitoring. Designed for rugged use, they offer wide temperature tolerance and optional coatings for harsh environments.
