Portable 5-slot VME/VME64 mini crate with redundant hot-swappable power supplies, integrated shelf manager, and rear-to-rear cooling.

The VME554-x portable mini crate is specifically designed for data acquisition, testing, and debugging tasks where mobility and reliability are essential. Supporting up to five standard 6U × 160 mm VME or VME64 modules, it comes housed in a lightweight yet robust portable chassis. Power is provided by one or two front-pluggable, hot-swappable 250 W cPCI modules, with optional redundancy for uninterrupted operation. The integrated WIENER CML Shelf Manager allows comprehensive local and remote monitoring and control of voltages, currents, fan speed, and temperature, as well as remote on/off, system reset, and programmable user I/O. Its silent rear-to-rear airflow cooling ensures stable operation even under continuous loads, while multiple protection systems safeguard both crate and modules. This compact unit is ideal for laboratory, field, or industrial applications requiring a versatile and portable VME platform.
