High-capacity 21-slot 19″ VME/VME64 full-size crate in robust 9U format, modularly designed for superior mechanical stability, ultra-low noise power, and advanced remote monitoring—ideal for demanding instrumentation and control systems.
- 19″ × 9U enclosure accommodating 21 VME/VME64 cards (6U × 160 mm)
- Modular architecture: UEV 6023 bin, UEL 6020 fan tray, UEP 6021 power supply
- 1 U air-compression plenum between fan tray and bus area; power supply located behind fan tray for unrestricted rear access
- Fan tray with 3 individually controlled DC fans (1200–3200 RPM), with LED display and Ethernet/RS-232/CAN-bus remote control
- “Cavity-VHF” switching power supply: up to ~3 kW, ultra-low noise (<3 mVpp on low-voltage rails), programmable protection, worldwide auto-range AC input with PFC

The VME 6023 Full Size Chassis is engineered for high-performance data acquisition, control, and test instrumentation systems. It supports up to 21 full-size VME or VME64 modules within an efficient 9U rack design. Its modular build—comprising a rugged bin, intelligent fan tray, and high-density power supply—enables flexible customization and easy servicing. The thermal design features front-mounted, temperature-controlled fans and a dedicated air-plenum to ensure excellent cooling. The “Cavity-VHF” power module provides ultra-low noise power, programmable protections, and global voltage compatibility. Full rear access, remote monitoring via Ethernet, RS-232, or CAN-bus, and optional expandability make this chassis a robust and versatile solution for precision and reliability in advanced laboratory and industrial settings.
