Product Information
These backplanes comply with VITA 62, supporting high input voltages (AC or DC) and multi-slot configurations to feed VS1/VS2/VS3 rails plus auxiliary lines. Hartmann builds them by hand to ensure quality and long service life.
VPX architecture (VITA 46 / OpenVPX) defines high-speed, serial fabrics and modular backplane standards for demanding embedded systems. Hartmann’s 3U VPX Power Backplanes adhere to the VITA 62 specification to deliver and manage the power rails (VS1, VS2, VS3 plus auxiliary lines) required by VPX payload and switch modules. They support either AC (85-265 VAC) or DC (18-36 VDC) input supplies, making them adaptable to a range of system environments. Their design focuses on robustness (wide temperature range, durable connectors, stud outputs) and flexibility (1–3 slot versions, adjustable slot pitch). In systems integration, they form the backbone of power delivery in rugged VPX deployments.
