3U cPCI Serial Power Backplane

CompactPCI Serial is an industrial standard for modular computer systems defined by the PCI Industrial Computer Manufacturers Group (PICMG) as CPCI-S.0. Unlike classic CompactPCI systems based on parallel PCI buses, CompactPCI Serial exclusively uses high-speed serial point-to-point connections, enabling modern system architectures without the need for switches or bridges in configurations with one system slot and up to eight peripheral slots.

Building on the evolution of the established PICMG 2.0 CompactPCI standard, Kontron Hartmann Wiener GmbH offers high-quality CompactPCI Serial power backplane solutions designed for demanding industrial applications. The 3U CompactPCI Serial Power Backplanes are available in 1-slot and 2-slot variants and support a universal input voltage for both AC and DC operation. Power is fed via M3 studs for +12 V and +5 V standby, ensuring secure and reliable power delivery.
