SCIT Group and Kontron Join Forces to Transform In-Flight Connectivity Across the Middle East and Africa

Dubai , November 20, 2025 – SCIT Group (Space Communications for Information Technology), a leading Saudi-based investment group driving next-generation air-to-ground (A2G) connectivity through its technology subsidiary SKYFive Arabia, and Kontron, a global leader in embedded computing technology, today announced a long-term strategic partnership at the Dubai Airshow to accelerate the deployment of advanced in-flight connectivity (IFC) services across the Middle East and Africa (MEA).
 
This partnership represents a major milestone in the region’s pursuit of seamless broadband connectivity in the skies. By combining Kontron’s proven avionics computing platforms with SCIT’s regional expertise and investment in A2G infrastructure, the collaboration will deliver reliable, high-speed, and low-latency connectivity to airlines and passengers across the MEA region.

As part of this collaboration, SCIT will integrate Kontron’s certified avionics systems, including the Ace Flight™ 4608 avionics server, Cab-n-Connect™ A200 CWAP, and upcoming Ace Flight™ 4609 avionics server and Cab-n-Connect™ A300 CWAP, into its A2G-based IFC platform. These aviation-grade solutions provide the performance, scalability, and robustness required to meet the unique demands of commercial and business aviation across the region.
