Kontron withdraws its guidance for 2016

Augsburg, Germany, July 15, 2016 – Kontron AG, a leading global provider of Embedded Computing Technology (ECT), announces that the revenue weakness encountered during the first half of the year is unlikely to be recovered during the second half considering the most recent forecast review that has just been completed. As a consequence, revenues, gross margin and adjusted EBIT margin are expected not to meet the 2016 guidance given earlier this year and Kontron also expects significant impairments regarding goodwill and capitalized development projects.

The Management board will initiate a further extensive program in order to address the revenue development as well as counter measures on the cost side.

Kontron will provide further information with the publication of the Q2 results on July 26, 2016.
