Kontron AG and Ennoconn Corporation formally commence their Strategic Partnership

Augsburg, Germany, April 1, 2016 – Kontron AG, a leading global provider of Embedded Computer Technology (ECT), and Ennoconn Corporation, Taiwan, a leading industrial mother board designer and total hardware system solution provider, yesterday closed their strategic partnership in the Communication segment announced on January 22.

Within yesterday‘s closing, upon the payment of the price of US$ 57.3 million (approximately € 52.5 million) to Kontron AG Ennoconn Corporation, a subsidiary of Foxconn Technology Group in Taipei, acquired a 49% stake in Kontron Canada Inc. (KCI) after having received all regulatory and corporate approvals. Kontron AG will retain the remaining 51% of KCI.
