Kontron will also feature the COBALT™ RR-2500 rugged rackmount server, a short-depth 2RU platform engineered for mission-critical edge environments and defense applications. Supporting the latest Intel® Xeon® and AMD EPYC™ processors, the RR-2500 delivers scalable compute power with flexible acceleration options while meeting demanding MIL-STD environmental requirements.

Designed for long lifecycle deployments (7-10 years), the platform is ideal for defense programs requiring rugged edge infrastructure for applications such as ISR, tactical communications, AI inference, and command-and-control operations.

As secure communications become increasingly critical across modern defense operations, Kontron’s ME1310 will demonstrate how rugged edge platforms can support advanced 5G and tactical connectivity deployments in the field.

The ME1310 integrates the Kontron 5G Core on a rugged multi-edge server to deliver high-performance, low-latency communications directly at the tactical edge. Powered by Intel® Xeon® D-2700 processors, it combines strong compute performance with an integrated 200 Gbps network switch supporting multiple high-speed fiber interfaces for seamless connectivity between sensors, radios, and compute modules. This compact, deployable platform enables real-time decision-making, sensor fusion, and mission-critical data exchange across air, land, sea, and space domains.

Avionics Platforms Designed for Connected Operations

Kontron will also showcase its avionics expertise through the Ace Flight™ 4609 and Ace Flight™ 905 platforms, designed to meet the increasing demands of modern defense aviation where connectivity, compute performance, and mission systems must operate as one integrated environment.

The Ace Flight™ 4609 delivers data-center-class computing performance in airborne environments, combining integrated 5G/LTE connectivity, rich networking interfaces, and rugged avionics design to support next-generation connected aircraft, ISR platforms, and mission system integration. The Ace Flight™ 905 complements this with a compact, rugged airborne compute platform designed for space-constrained deployments where reliability, deterministic performance, and secure onboard processing are critical.
