Hannes Niederhauser

"Hannes Niederhauser is CEO of Kontron AG and, since March 4, 2024, also CEO of the majority-owned KATEK SE. After completing his studies in electrical engineering at the Graz University of Technology, the Austrian-born manager began his career as a microchip developer and in the embedded computer segment. Before joining Kontron (then S&T), Hannes was the principal shareholder and CEO of the then Kontron AG from 1999 to 2007, during which time the company developed into the world’s largest provider in the field of embedded computing solutions. Hannes consistently drives Kontron’s strategic positioning as a leading provider of IoT solutions."

Governance Structure

The Executive Board and Supervisory Board of Kontron are committed to excellent corporate governance and meet investors' expectations for transparent, responsible, and long-term business management. Our governance framework strengthens stakeholder trust and creates long-term value.

UN Global Compact

The UN Global Compact sets standards for human rights, labor standards, environmental protection, and anti-corruption. Since 2021, Kontron has been a member and has defined eleven sustainability goals (SDGs). The membership strengthens our responsibility and sustainability strategies.

Compliance

The compliance culture is firmly embedded in Kontron's corporate governance and is anchored in the Code of Conduct, which covers anti-corruption, data protection, and ESG topics. The Group Compliance Office supports its implementation, and all employees participate in mandatory training and regular refresher courses.
