Kontron has designed a ruggedized, outdoor IP65 version of the ME1210 Edge Server Series – the RS1210. Built to withstand extreme temperatures and live in harsh environments, the RS1210 simplifies the deployment of new telecom and 5G services in remote areas. By mounting the heavy duty RS1210 server directly to a mobile tower, wall or pole and monitoring it remotely, operators can easily enable complex applications closer to the network edge.
