At the field, or edge level, data is collected by industrial computers, e.g. by gateways, which process, filter, analyze and act on these data in real-time right at the device.
Edge, fog and cloud applications demand increasing computing power. The interfaces to sensors or machines often require non-standard solutions. Especially in smaller machines, space is limited or restricted in some dimension and need a special solution.
Today, the connection from the sensor device to the embedded cloud takes place via real-time data communication, on sensor and edge level - for example Industrial Ethernet or fieldbuses - and gateways , which provide the transformation of real time data into the informational area.

Kontron Europe GmbH provides a customer oriented RMA-service in order to get your unit repaired very fast and efficiently. Please follow the given instructions. Please download the RMA-Request Form.

Instructions
- Please complete the given RMA-Request Form
- Please take care to include a short but detailed description of the observed problem or failure and product identification
- Please send the completed RMA-Request Form to RMA-Ulm@kontron.com
- Kontron Europe GmbH (Ulm) will provide you an RMA-No within 1-2 business days
- The goods for repair shall be packed properly for shipping, considering shock- and ESD-protection.
- Please add the RMA-sheet to the relevant delivery address and include the RMA-No into shipping paperwork.
- Please send the goods for repair to the address which is given you with the RMA-No
Note
Goods returned to us in non proper packaging will be considered as customer caused faults and cannot accepted in any case as warranty repairs.
