Your tasks:

  • Selling solutions in Europe of Kontron Transportation Schweiz AG (formerly Comlab AG), one of the leading providers of radio frequency technologies with a highly interesting customer portfolio that includes authorities and organizations with security tasks, railroad companies, mobile phone companies and private organizations. In this varied role, you will be responsible for the sales success of complete solutions in the Mission Critical, Business Critical and Public Communication business segments. Your main geographical market is Germany and some international markets.

  • Develop cross selling activities in Transmission (SDH, Optical, IP/MPLS, MPLS-TP, Segment routing) mainly with our GSM-R and Public transport customers. Kontron Transportation established a global partnership with Ribbon Communications with a dedicated portfolio for mission critical market.

  • The sales manager will work closely with regional sales manager covering different territories to identify revenue opportunities within the targeted account base both existing and new.

 

Your qualification:

  • Proven, multi-year experience in key account management for business-critical customers (authorities with security tasks, railroads, public transport)
  • Technical education in the field of electrical engineering, communications engineering, computer science, degree in computer science, electrical engineering, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of RF technology in Vehicles, Railways, Tunnels, Buildings and experience in Governmental Organizations, Police Forces, Federal Railways, Telecom Operators, Infrastructure Owners (Track, Road, Airports, Military, …)
  • Knowledge and selling experience into IP/Packet and Optical environments and solutions are required.
  • Preferred industry knowledge of Ribbon, Cisco, Nokia and Juniper product portfolios. Experience in transmission networks :DWDM, Packet capabilities : legacy (TDM,SDH,MPLS-TP,IP-MPLS,Segment Routing MPLS) and IP knowledge
  • Business fluent in German and English; French an advantage
  • Relevant experience in customer facing
  • Strong team and communication skills and a convincing manner
  • High degree of independence, organizational skills and a structural approach to work
  • Dynamic, entrepreneurial personality with a passion for sustainable relationship management
  • Character traits : outgoing, loyal, trustworthy, persevering, resilient, able to deal with conflict, flexible, decisive
