Kontron appoints Tecnomic Systems Pte Ltd as sales partner for Southeast Asia

Kontron expands to meet the needs of Southeast Asian telecom customers

Taipei, Taiwan, June 19th, 2009 - Kontron, a world leading manufacturer and supplier of Embedded Computer Technology (ECT), announced today the expansion of its sales partner network in Southeast Asia with the addition of Tecnomic Systems Pte ltd, based in Singapore. With immediate effect, Tecnomic will serve Kontron's customers in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam.

Local Telecom Equipment Manufacturers (TEMs), solution providers and system integrators will benefit from Kontron's broad product portfolio and Tecnomic's extensive knowledge and experience with solutions based on CompactPCI®, AdvancedTCA® and Communications Rackmount Servers (CRMS). This cooperation provides the ideal combination for telecom applications, such as SS7, VOIP, TDM, 3G (HMP) as well as professional services for telecom network and platform system integration services for CompactPCI® and AdvancedTCA®. Currently, Tecnomic is a sales partner of Intel® and is therefore very experienced in selling and supporting Server Boards, Communication Rackmount Servers as well as MicroTCA™ and AdvancedTCA® products into the telecom market.
