The PowerCard UPSTM, developed by Guardian On Board, is the first internal UPS card available on the market. PowerCard is the most compact, energy efficient, and environmentally friendly UPS available. Fitting into a single PCI slot, PowerCard´s weight and volume are a full 80% less than that of a standard UPS. The 420VA (250W) PowerCard allows users up to 25 minutes of battery backup for a PC, monitor and connected peripherals. In addition, it offers full-time protection against all types of power disturbances, full-time surge and noise suppression, phone/data line protection, and automatic shutdown software. PowerCard products are designed for a variety of mission critical equipment, including desktop PCs, small workstations and network servers, point-of-sale equipment, telecom and telephony systems and even ATMs.
