Kontron AG announces new Global Head of Sales & Marketing

  • Michael Väth joins Kontron AG as Global Head of Sales & Marketing
  • He is tasked to drive profitable revenue growth and to deliver the strategic transformation of Kontron’s client interface

Eching near Munich, June 6, 2013 – Kontron AG, globally leading provider of Embedded Computer Technology (ECT), is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Väth (52) to Global Head of Sales & Marketing. He brings with him a wealth of experience in managing large, international organizations, having most recently served as General Manager EMEA and as Head of Global Business Innovation for Hitachi Data Systems. Prior to that, he held senior management roles at Storagetek, NCR and other global IT companies. Michael is taking over from Thomas Sparrvik, who will support him during the transition period before leaving the company at the end of the month.
