Arrow Electronics recognized at Kontron awards

Technical and business performance leads to twin honours

Augsburg, March 31st, 2016 – Kontron, a leading global provider of Embedded Computing Technology (ECT), today announced that Arrow Electronics emerged from Kontron’s Global Partner Event, held during March in Augsburg, Germany, with two awards in recognition of its technical and business performance.
 
The first award was ‘Best Global COM System Integrator’, which was accepted by Arrow’s OEM Computer Solutions (OCS) team in Israel. This was decided based on the integration skills demonstrated by Arrow when working with complex products, particularly in the communications sector. Arrow’s expertise with products such as the SYMKLOUD scalable, converged Cloud infrastructure platform proved decisive in the choice. SYMKLOUD solutions combine compute, storage and networking resources in a compact, modular 2U system.
 
The second award was for ‘Highest Revenue in EMEA’ during 2015. Arrow’s ability to cover the entire EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) market, coupled with its close cooperation with Kontron at a local level, was instrumental in achieving this level of performance.
